Project Brief

As Prime Consultant, KeRi designed the replacement of the existing three (3) rooftop package units with steam heating on new steel dunnage roof supports, replaced exhaust fans, and provided new VAV and fan-powered VAV terminals with steam reheat coils, along with a new standalone DDC controls system. The construction cost was approximately $3.2 million, completed in 2022.

The Challenge

Replacing three rooftop package units on an existing school roof meant new structural support, fresh air distribution, and modern controls without an extended loss of heating or cooling.
