Most public work is local. Towns, boroughs, counties and school-adjacent agencies run aging buildings that have to stay open while they are repaired, and every dollar is committed through a public capital budget and an open bid. We design MEP and fire protection for municipal buildings, police and fire stations, EMS and public works facilities, libraries, senior and recreation centers, and the conversions that turn an existing building into a working town facility. Drawings are prepared for public bidding and prevailing wage, and carried through local construction-official review and state code approvals.

Federal and defense work runs alongside it, under a different set of rules: GSA standards, UFC criteria, USACE design protocols, cleared-personnel requirements and NIST cybersecurity overlays, on procurement timelines that do not bend. Whether the work comes through an IDIQ vehicle, a one-off task order or a municipal award, it is delivered to schedule, to spec and to the closeout package the contracting officer or the governing body expects.

Municipal work across New Jersey and New York: HVAC upgrades to the Bernards Township municipal building, library and police headquarters; a new three-season pavilion on the Carteret waterfront; the Holmdel EMS building; the Roselle police department locker rooms; the Wood-Ridge recreation complex; a warehouse converted for the Hackensack building department; Trenton police headquarters; and a condition assessment of city buildings for Mount Vernon. Federal and recovery work includes MEP due-diligence studies of the Peter W. Rodino, Martin Luther King Jr., VA and Robert A.
