Project Brief
KeRi designed a new 340 kW photovoltaic system for Claremont School, including approximately 900 solar-panel modules with associated inverters and distribution system. The design provided the code-required rapid-shutdown system and coordinated with the utility company for interconnection and net metering.
MEP Engineering Scope

What We Engineered
Solar photovoltaic system for the school:
- New 340 kW photovoltaic array (~900 modules) with inverters
- Distribution system integration
- Code-required rapid-shutdown system
- Utility coordination for interconnection and net metering
The Challenge
Adding a 340 kW, roughly 900-module array to an operating school meant integrating significant generation into the building's electrical system safely while meeting code-mandated rapid-shutdown and utility interconnection requirements.
Our Solution
KeRi designed the array, inverters, and distribution with a code-compliant rapid-shutdown system and coordinated the net-metering interconnection with the utility, letting the school offset its energy use without compromising electrical safety.
