Eberhardt Hall Renovation, Historic Restoration

Eberhardt Hall was built in 1857. The building was designed by John Welch as a home for Newark’s orphans. Building was acquired by NJIT and underwent gut renovation. Design included full new MEP system. New HVAC system consisted of high efficiency heat pumps, and minimal ductwork to maintain the original building’s ceilings. New electrical service with new lighting to accentuate the building’s architecture.
